Whenever I enter a library, I step up towards my favorite section of books, open the shelf and pick up my knowledge tome surprisingly all these hardly takes 5 minutes to get done. It’s not because I am fond of reading and a book lover indeed that drag me towards my fervor, but because books are arranged systematically and in a manner that adds on interest in reading. Of course it’s a library, where thousands of books are available and still they are arranged in an orderly and eye catching ways………so just imagine, if thousands of books can be systematized in a library then why can’t your living room with a striking bookshelf in its corner holding few books be? • Be simple yet smart – Arrange books alphabetically in their respective sections. You can try some geometrical patterns for designing your bookshelf, it will give a classy look to your bookshelf.
• Blend your bookshelf in different colors- Blush your bookshelf with what sooths your eye or that matches the wall and furniture of your living room. It will fetch a sense of belongingness and thus flourish your interest in the place.
  Try contrast – You can also try contrast not necessarily black and white, but even others like red and yellow or blue and green. Combo of dark and light will standardize your bookshelf.
• Go natural – You can place some colorful stones, sea shells or an air plant in between your bookshelf to give it a lively touch.
• Add quotes – Books and quotes have a strong bond among them….so why not keep them together? Make attractive chart papers with quotes on them and stick it in between the shelf. It will always trigger you towards your goal.
• Symbolize your section – Most practical way to design is to symbolize your section. Exemplary, you can place some arty piece in your fiction set or globe in natures ride, respectively.
